Hi I'm Tilly's dad and glad you have visited our site. I'm absolutely astounded at the response and offers of help from all sorts of people from as far away as Australia!

Debbie, Oliver, myself and Tilly thank you all so much for the support and love you've shown.

I am so pleased to tell you all that we have been given a cheque for the amazing sum of £25,000 for the fund!

Following press of the various events taking place for the Appeal Fund, Directors of Oilfield Insurance Agencies Limited decided to contact us to find out more about Tilly and the Fund.  We discussed the recent problems Tilly had experienced and the fact that we are waiting for a date, possibly within the next 8 weeks, for the surgery.  We also discussed the estimated costs for the operation, £50,000, and the fact that the Appeal Fund needs to continue raising funds as the 6 monthly visits to America for the Research are so important and can be costly.  We explained to them that the last time we went to America the cost of the flights alone was £2,800, and so the Fund will need to continue after the initial operation costs of £50,000 as the six monthly visits will continue as they are so valuable given the rarity and complexity of the main condition "NOMID/CINCA.

As a result of the above communications, the Directors of Oilfield Insurance Agencies Limited have kindly donated £25,000 to the Fund so that we now meet the target for the operation.

I can't tell you in words how happy we are at being able to offer such a wonderful child, who has suffered so much, the opportunity of independence to be able to walk.  She is so excited at the prospect of being able to walk and play with her friends.  Debra is working hard with Tilly every day on exercises to build up the muscle definition in preparation for the operation.

Please accept our sincere appreciation for your kind and compassionate offer to help Tilly, your generosity will always be appreciated and remembered by us all.

Kindest regards

Colin, Debra, Oliver and Tilly
