Update on Tilly
- Tilly has been back to Great Ormond Street for physiotherapy over the past two weeks and was fitted with new splints today.
She has improved considerably since her operation but, on the downside, her daily steroid intake has increased from 5 ml to 10 ml to control the inflamation of the CINCA condition which has been active for some time.
We are hoping to receive a discharge from GOS soon which will enable us to move forward with arrangements for the operation in the US.
I am currently researching possible locations for Debbie & Tilly to live for the 6 month period anticipated. In addition I need to consider the following:
Transportation (Hire Car)
Home Tuition for Tilly
Physiotherapy (Post Operation)
Medical Supplies (Medications)
Disability Aids
Etc etc
Debbie has discussed the operation with Tilly and she is excited about the possibility of walking independently like her friends!
Please keep up the support and thank you so much for what so many of you have done to help us with our plight for Tilly.
