Hi I'm Tilly's dad and glad you have visited our site. I'm absolutely astounded at the response and offers of help from all sorts of people from as far away as Australia!
Debbie, Oliver, myself and Tilly thank you all so much for the support and love you've shown.

Apologies for the delay in updating but it has been a very difficult period.
Tilly had some complications recently in that a pin came loose in her hip and began pertruding at the waist. In addition, her temperature went skywards at the same time which was alarming! A few days ago the surgeon removed the pin and the temperature is under control, phew!!!
I had to return back to England four weeks ago but have been lucky enough to return back to Washington DC until Tilly is ready to come home, expected 19/20th January 2008.
I am so proud of Debra, Sally (Debra's mum) and Oliver as Tilly is in great spirits and doing so well. How she keeps smiling through all of this is beyond me!
Lots of Teams are now involved in conducting lot's of tests on Tilly as her diagnosis is in doubt as it appears that certain chromozones are missing and that her wrists and ankles also appear to be ''dysplastic'. She has had a lot of blood taken over the past weeks for different specialists. They are being very thourough and as Tilly is now 10 years of age it is important to find and deal with the issues, if possible, as soon as possible.
We think that Tilly may have to return every 3 months so that they can monitor and evaluate her progress/lack of progress as closely as is possible.
Tilly will begin re-habilitation this week in DC so we will keep you posted as much as possible on her progress. Her will to walk is incredible, it's all she talks about which shows how determined she is which will help her get to the goal!!!
