Tilly's rehabilitation has been delayed and top this her calcium levels have been  increasing to high levels.

Tilly has infusions regularly back home to combat the calcium problem and today she started the first of three infusions that take 3-4 hours.  She was very upset this morning and, not surprisingly, voiced her dismay in a very downbeat manner.  What do you say in response to a child that feels like giving up, given what she has been through during her life?  We know she wont, but totally understand her feeling so low given that she thought her cast would be removed and she would be returning home soon on her feet.
She had more bloods taken for various tests in relation to her main condition as there is confusion and concern over various issues.

Myself, Debra and Oliver had to travel to Baltimore today to try and extend the 3 month visa's.  The officials treated us very well and were very thorough in their approach to our case.  I am returning to Baltimore tomorrow to receive a letter to say that we wont be approached to be removed from the US but, were advised, that future visits will be a problem as the green visa cards, 3 month that everyone applies for upon entry, will not be allowed as the stay has been exceeded but not officially extended.  I am expempt as I recently returned within 3 months and now have a new 3 month visa.

I must re-iterate, the two officials we dealt with were very kind and understanding to our case but at the end of the day we have been let down in not being advised properly as we thought this would be done by the government run hospital that knew how long the anticipated stay/procedures were and advised us accordingly.  In future we must apply for 10 year visas and we will encounter problems/questioning as to why we exceeded the 3 month visas upon each entry, which we think could be every 3 months!!!

We have a legitimate case of visiting a country for surgery and research and we are paying for it and not applying for work or citizenship so there must be someone who can help our genuine cause???
