» Raffle for Southend Utd FC "Mascot for the Day" donated to Mountnessing School

A large City Financial Institution kindly donated the above to Mountnessing School. The school decided to raffle the prize in aid of Tilly's Appeal Fund and managed to raise a fabulous £400.

» Charity Football Match and Auction at Basildon FC

Thanks largely to the efforts of Paul & Nicole Dennis and Dave Cussack the event raised a staggering £5000 for the Appeal Fund!

Thanks to all the players and spectators that turned out on the day to make this possible.  Despite the Cherry Tree Select going into half time 1-0 down, the game turned around in the second half and the Cherry were 3-1 winners at the end of 90 very long minutes! Among the ex-proffessional's that turned out were:

Peter Taylor
David Crown

The auction event after the game proved to be a great success and included:

» Race Night and Auction at the Cherry Tree Pub in Brentwood

Paul & Nicole Dennis organised the event at their pub in Brentwood and what a great night!

There incredible efforts helped us to raise £4,500 for the fund which we found unbelievable. The auction event included:

» Another Successful Charity Football Match

Debenhams Lakeside vs Basildon at Purfleet FC was kindly arranged by the Security Manager of Debenhams Lakeside. A raffle of various prizes kindly donated and the auction of a signed Arsenal shirt enabled the fund to rise by £1000!
